Lifeguard Certification/Recertification Classes
Westchase periodically hosts Red Cross Shallow Water Lifeguard Certification/Recertification Classes at our Westchase Swim & Tennis Center located at 10405 Countryway Blvd, Tampa FL 33626. Swim pre-tests will be performed prior to any certification courses. You must be at least 15 years of age with proven swimming skills. You would need to register for a swimming pre-test by emailing our Facility Manager, Dwight Kilgore, at facilitiesmanager@westchasewca.com
Scheduled swim pre-tests will be performed Feb 26 and Mar 4th between 3pm – 5pm or by appointment. In-person classes will be held Mar 11 – 15 from 9am – 4pm with a 30 minute lunch break.

Prior to a class, payment must be made and a Waiver of Release must be completed and submitted to the facility manager. The minor form must be completed by the parent/guardian. Photo copy of adult ID and child’s birth certificate/guardianship papers must be included with the waiver.
